NET BOOK SCHEME

Mitra Jyothi is happy to announce the launch of its Net Book Scheme for students with visual impairment.  Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is changing people’s lives in today’s world like never before.  It breaks the barriers between the sighted and those with difficulties in vision.

This scheme is for students with visual impairment those who need to use computer for help with their education, but are unable to afford it. Our aim is to provide equal access to Information and Communication technology for under privileged persons with visual impairment, to increase their higher education, and to increase their employability.

These netbooks have been reconfigured for persons with low vision and blindness. All the required free and open source software has been installed and tested in this machine.
